Foilayage is a hybrid color technique that pairs the freehand painting of balayage with the heat-trapping foils of traditional highlighting. Painted strands are wrapped in foil, allowing the lightener to lift further and faster than air-processed balayage.
The result is a brighter, more saturated finish with the same soft, blended grow-out as classic balayage. It's the go-to service for clients who love the balayage effect but want to go several shades lighter in a single session.
Foilayage is especially effective on darker bases that resist lift in open air, and on hair that's been previously colored.
